On Fullness

The end of the year can leave us feeling depleted and drained. One way to fill ourselves with positivity is with music !

Welcome to our first webinar in a series of three that is focused on the theme of “Fullness”. To help us embark on this journey, multi-instrumentalist/songwriter Bill Shontz shares his love for the richness of nature through his uplifting, unifying songs. A true storyteller at heart, Shontz recounts how his passion for music has developed and evolved through his life. His perspectives on sound and the meditative aspects of listening help us tap into the positive vibrations of the soul.

This meeting includes both an introductory and closing Chair Yoga meditation focusing on presence and relaxation with Sheila Magalhaes.

On Fullness

Some childhood wounds feel like they never fully heal. However, peace and acceptance with the past may be closer than you think.

In this final Sunday session exploring the theme of “Change”, today’s guest uses poetic practice to gain awareness of generational trauma and open yourself up to love. Andover Poet Laureate Linda Flaherty Haltmaier dives into her acclaimed work through the lens of family constellations. She teaches us how to excavate our experiences to transform our relationships with ourselves and our loved ones.

This session includes an introductory Jin Shin Jyutsu session led by Derek Notman, and a closing mantra meditation/chakra cleanse offered by Maia Ibar.

On Fullness

Have you ever felt like your mind is getting in the way of your potential? One special guest asks us to consider incorporating Yoga and its principles as part of our practice.

With this Sunday session, we embark on our second of three discussions on the theme of “Change”. Sheila Magalhaes teaches us how to unlock our connection to the forces of the universe by outlining the founding concepts of Yoga. These guidelines are essential to cultivating a steadiness of mind that helps us feel at ease in the face of life’s day-to-day changes. We invite you to join us and learn.

This session includes an introductory Jin Shin Jyutsu session focusing on the body’s potential as a vehicle of change.

What is "Change"? Is it a barrier to freedom, or a source of emancipatory energy? How can it benefit our lives?

To answer these questions, we embark on the first of three Sunday sessions exploring the theme of “Change”. Guiding us is Bara Braver, an outspoken poet and spiritual thinker who helps us uncover the connection between faith and resilience. As members are invited to share their stories, a common thread emerges — to accept our imperfect, changing bodies is to access the light within.

This session includes an introductory Jin Shin Jyutsu session exploring stillness led by Derek Notman, and a closing sound bath/chakra cleanse offered by Maia Ibar and Tristan Martineau.

On Fullness

Sometimes, just being present is enough to feel liberated. However, it’s easier said than done—what are some ways we can access the energy stored in our bodies?

This Sunday session is our third and final discussion of the question, “What is it to be living whole?”. After an introductory Jin Shin Jyutsu session emphasizing bodily awareness, Derek Notman dives deep into the principles of his practice to help us understand how to lead with our bodies. LWO Founder Kathryn Hayward facilitates a fascinating discussion with Derek, touching on relaxation, healing, truth, and intelligence.

After a stimulating discussion, Maia Ibar leads a cleansing sound bath.
