On Fullness

What would it feel like if we stopped chasing permission — to be ourselves, stop worrying, live with verve, feel tenderness? How can we give this permission to ourselves?

In this session, we continue our series on the theme of “Light” with this second and final part. Bringing together the ancient art of Jin Shin Jyutsu with a conversation about inquiry, Derek Notman leads us in a session that opens fascinating questions about mindfulness and self-care. As the founder of Awakened Embodiment, and a long-time collaborator of our Sunday TLCs, Derek is a cherished cornerstone of our community. We hope that the light he has to share helps guide your practice during these weeks of darkness, when nature encourages you to be quiet, be still and replenish your energy.

Along with Derek’s Jin Shin Jyutsu session, this meeting also includes a closing sound bath by Maia Ibar.

Welcome to our first 2025 Living Whole Online Sunday TLC !

As the seasons change and the days darken, our energy can fade like the softening Winter light. Some traditional practices can help us through the gloomy weather.

This is the first in an illuminating series of two sessions that focus on the theme of “Light”. Ursula Peer, a Traditional Chinese Medicine Nutrition and Detox expert, helps us navigate the transition from holiday to the new year with a captivating presentation on traditional health practices, Qi, seasonal change, and nutrition. Ursula shows us how we can harness these concepts to be our own sources of light in these quiet weeks of darkness.

This session includes an introductory Jin Shin Jyutsu session on self-knowledge led by Derek Notman, along with a closing Chair Yoga session led by Sheila Magalhaes.

Welcome to our last Living Whole Online Sunday TLC of 2024 !

Feeling invigorated is a practice that takes time and dedication. Our special guest today provides us with new avenues and perspectives to help us through that process.

Join us for the last session in a series of three as we reflect on the theme of “Fullness”. This time, The Vibrancy Path Founder/Creator Jamie Champion uses Sanskrit words and vocalizations to help reflect on the inner sources that power our humanity and joy. Revealing the intricate mechanics of a balanced life through fascinating graphics and stories, Jamie provides us with tools to tap into our innate vibrancy. We hope this will inspire you to energize the coming winter weeks in new ways.

This session includes both an introductory and closing Chair Yoga meditation focusing on fullness and inner peace with Sheila Magalhaes.

In a culture of responsibility and rationality, how do we truly embrace spontaneity? Two very special guests help us answer this question using a powerful principle: unlocking the creative flow.

In this second session exploring the theme of fullness, celebrated cartoonist Jonathan Plotkin uncovers the enriching effect of creative play through the simple act of doodling. With humorous demonstrations and witty anecdotes, Plotkin teaches us how to unlock our imaginative toolkit and use drawing to incorporate play into our lives.

Creative freedom is further facilitated by acclaimed multi-instrumentalist/performer Bill Shontz, who shares three uplifting songs with profound emotional messages, leaving us with a smile in our hearts.

This session includes an introductory Jin Shin Jyutsu session taught by Derek Notman.
