What are the factors that contribute to my concerns about my bowels and what can I do about them?

Bowels get your attention when you have to poop. If you have concerns beyond that normal experience, this TLC teaches an Integrative Whole Health approach to bowels.

In the Conventional Medicine Education film, you will review the anatomy of the digestive tract, the gut-brain connection and the gut microbiome. Medications that are often offered by conventionally trained practitioners are discussed. A pdf that you can print out will help you prepare for your visit to your medical practitioner.

In the Food film, you will learn to devote seven full days to focusing on your bowel health, shopping and cooking, and eating specific foods to improve digestion and engage in a detox. This approach can also ease your stress, which often helps bowel symptoms.

Qi Gong’s usefulness in helping with bowel projects focuses on relaxing and clearing the middle chamber of the body. Becoming curious while moving is to pay attention to what you are doing, to help you connect more deeply with yourself. The more observant and curious you are as you move, the more you will benefit from the process.

The Mind/Body/Spirit Disciplines film reminds you that your body is the vehicle of your spirit, your higher self. Bowel challenges are rooted in three possible meanings, involving how you nurture yourself and choose what is beneficial for you, what you are not letting go of that no longer serves you, and your connection to the energy of the Father that helps you make decisions, be a leader in your life and support your feelings of self-worth. A constellation exercise helps you receive what you need and release what you don’t need.

As you do the exercises in this TLC, you may discover that your symptoms have been hiding deeper problems, so if you get triggered, please engage in an individual session, perhaps therapy, so that you can learn more tools to let go of the patterns that triggered you.
