Born in Jerusalem and based in London and Mallorca, artist Talia LeHavi has been working with traditional Japanese ink painting techniques for many years. Exhibiting both in London and internationally, she is known for her crossdisciplinary paintings and prints.
Talia’s aesthetic sensibility is an exploration and reclamation of nature's patterns, prompting a dynamic dialogue between the detailed and the whole, the fleeting and eternal.
Her work can be found in public collections, as well as many private art collections around the world.
Throughout the years, Talia has been commissioned for a selection of projects with interior designers, book publishers, authors and poets, as well as the film industry.
Talia has been teaching Japanese ink painting and calligraphy at her London and Mallorca studio, as well as various museums, art councils and associations in the UK and worldwide. She is the founder of
ArtBrush Online - an online school for the studies of Japanese ink painting.
